Film Classes in Toronto Canada
Part of the Raindance Filmmakers Foundation Certificate Program, a unique series of Raindance Canada sponsored Wednesday evening classes beginning in early May 2009.
Film classes covering essential independent filmmaking aspects including Navigating Film Festivals; Sound Effects on No Budget; The Art of Action; The Essentials of Entertainment Law and The Triple Threat: Camera, Editing and Production.
Raindance spans the full spectrum of the art, craft and business of independent movies - from guerilla style low or no budget productions to big budget indie blockbusters.
We don't teach Filmmaking. We make Filmmakers.
Training courses are at the heart of the Raindance structure, aiming to give individuals the tools to get out there and start shooting their film. Raindance combines the best filmmaking traditions with new digital technology – a policy that works.
In the last twelve months, over 3,000 filmmakers - writers, directors, producers, actors, agents, film and media students - attended Raindance courses.
