Public Schools Association reports 4% Student Declines
The number of international students enrolled at members of the Canadian Association of Public Schools – International decreased by 4 per cent in the 2025/26 academic year, according to the latest report published by the association.
The annual report shows that there was a total of 31,875 international students enrolled in 2025/26, a decline of 4% compared with 33,199 in the previous academic year.
This total included 27,248 full year or semester students and 4,627 short-term (less than 4 months) students .
